Star Spangled Celebration on the River

A free Fourth of July celebration on July 2 at The Commons at Gordon's Creek in Hattiesburg and Petal River Park, with live music, food vendors, kids' zones, and fireworks at 9 PM.

Same celebration, updated Hattiesburg location.

Dual fireworks show View the 9 PM show from The Commons at Gordon's Creek or Petal River Park.
Two music stages Live sets anchor the evening on both sides of the river.

Event Details

Everything guests need before they go.

Hattiesburg guests should go to The Commons at Gordon's Creek at 105 Hardy Street and review the parking map before arriving. Petal guests should go to Petal River Park and use the posted Petal parking and shuttle guidance.

Music on both sides

Live music and entertainment begin at 6 PM at The Commons at Gordon's Creek and Petal River Park.

Food and drinks

Food, beverage, and merchandise options throughout the celebration areas give guests places to grab a bite, cool off, and pick up event items.

Kids' zones

Family-friendly activity areas give younger guests room to play and enjoy the evening before the fireworks show.

Fireworks over the river

The fireworks display begins at 9 PM and can be viewed from both official event locations.
